BatteryMonitor
Last Updated: July 7, 2026
BatteryMonitor (the "App") helps you monitor Bluetooth peripheral battery levels, connection status, local battery history, widgets and battery-related notifications.
Core commitment: The App does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs or developer-operated tracking servers. Bluetooth and battery data is used to provide App features and is stored locally on your device or, when iCloud is available, in Apple-managed iCloud storage for sync.
To provide the App's core functions, the App may process and store the following information:
The App does not intentionally collect or transmit:
The App uses iOS Core Bluetooth to scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy peripherals, connect to devices you choose, read supported battery services or supported vendor-specific battery characteristics, and update saved device state.
Bluetooth access may continue in the background when iOS allows it so the App can refresh battery status and send battery alerts. The App does not use Bluetooth data to infer your location and does not sell or share Bluetooth identifiers for advertising.
The App stores device records and battery readings in Core Data. App settings are stored in iOS UserDefaults. Widget data may be written to an App Group shared container so the iOS widget can display device status and predicted battery timelines.
The App is configured with Apple's CloudKit-backed Core Data sync. If iCloud is available for your Apple ID and the feature is enabled by the system, device and battery records may sync through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. The developer does not operate a separate sync server and cannot directly access your iCloud account data.
If you grant notification permission, the App may schedule local notifications for low battery, predicted rapid battery drain, charging completion, connection and disconnection events. Notification preferences and recent alert timestamps are stored locally to respect your settings and avoid repeated alerts.
The App may offer a Lifetime Pro purchase through Apple StoreKit. Purchase, restoration and entitlement validation are handled by Apple StoreKit. The App stores only the resulting local entitlement state needed to unlock App features. Payment information is processed by Apple, not by the developer.
Battery history retention follows the retention option you choose in the App, such as 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or forever. You may remove saved devices, clear local data through available App controls, disable iCloud sync in system settings, revoke Bluetooth or notification permissions, or uninstall the App to remove sandboxed local App data.
The App relies on Apple system frameworks and services, including Core Bluetooth, Core Data, CloudKit, WidgetKit, UserNotifications and StoreKit. These services are governed by Apple's privacy practices and your Apple ID/iCloud settings. The App does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
The App is intended for general utility use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not provide developer-operated accounts or servers, guardians can remove local App data by deleting saved devices or uninstalling the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, platform requirements or legal requirements change. Updated versions may be published on this page, in App release notes or inside the App.
