Overview

DBKit (the "App") is a native iOS database client tool designed for developers and database administrators. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information Collection

The App does not collect any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, etc.)
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
• Location information
• Usage statistics or analytics data
• Crash reports or diagnostic data

2. Database Connection Information

2.1 Local Storage

Database connection configurations you create (including host address, port, username, database type, etc.) are stored locally in UserDefaults on your device.

2.2 Password Security

Database connection passwords are encrypted and stored using iOS Keychain services with hardware-level encryption. Passwords:

• Are never stored in plain text
• Are only accessible on this device
• Are not synced to iCloud
• Are never transmitted to any server

2.3 Data Transmission

When you connect to a database, all communication is:

• Peer-to-peer: Your device connects directly to your specified database server
• No intermediary servers: Data does not pass through any third-party servers
• User-controlled: You decide which database to connect to and what operations to perform

3. Database Query Data

SQL queries you execute and their results:

• Are displayed only within the app
• Are not logged or saved (unless you actively save them to local device storage)
• Are not uploaded to any server
• Are automatically cleared when the app is closed

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any of the following third-party services:

• Analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics)
• Advertising networks
• Social media SDKs
• Tracking or monitoring tools
• Cloud storage services

5. Data Sharing

The App does not share your data with any third parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

6. Data Security

While we do not collect data, we take the following measures to protect your data on your device:

• Use iOS Keychain to encrypt sensitive information
• Require user confirmation for write operations (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/DROP)
• Do not log sensitive information

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through app update notes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
